Caring for Your Dentures
Dentures need daily care to last: clean them every day with a soft brush and a mild denture cleaner, never regular toothpaste, which can scratch the surface. Take them out at night so your gums get a genuine rest, and keep them soaking in water or a denture solution so they do not dry out and lose their shape. Expect a short adjustment period – some soreness or extra saliva in the first week or two is normal and usually settles. Bring your dentures to your regular check-ups so we can catch and correct any fit changes early, before they turn into sore spots.
