What we collect, and why
When you book a visit. Our booking form asks for your name, phone number, and what brings you in. We use this only to confirm your appointment – typically by sending you a WhatsApp message from our clinic number, or by calling you directly.
When you message us on WhatsApp. If you WhatsApp us a photo or a question, that conversation happens on WhatsApp’s platform, governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy in addition to this one. We use it only to help with your enquiry or appointment.
When you browse this site. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which pages are useful and how people find us – things like which pages you visit, roughly where in the world you’re browsing from, and what device you’re using. This is aggregate, statistical information; we don’t use it to identify you personally.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets a small number of cookies to distinguish one visit from another. This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies from third parties beyond that. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings – the site will still work, though our own visit statistics will be a little less accurate.
Who we share information with
- Google – for site analytics (GA4) and, if you find us that way, Google Search and Google Business Profile.
- Meta / WhatsApp – to send booking confirmations and respond to messages, since our booking flow runs through WhatsApp.
- Our hosting provider – who stores this website’s files and the booking details you submit, purely to keep the site running.
We do not share your information with anyone else, and we don’t use it for marketing beyond what you’ve explicitly asked for (like appointment reminders).
How long we keep it
Appointment and contact details are kept as part of your patient record for as long as is reasonable for continuity of care and to meet standard record-keeping practice for a dental clinic. You can ask us to delete non-essential contact information (like an old phone number no longer in use) at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct anything that’s wrong
- Delete information we don’t need to keep for clinical or legal reasons
Just email smile@punedentalstudio.com and we’ll sort it out directly – no forms, no bureaucracy.
Security
This site is served entirely over HTTPS (encrypted connections). We don’t ask for or store payment card details on this website – payment happens in person at the studio, by cash, UPI, card, or online transfer.
Children
We do treat children as patients, with a parent or guardian present and responsible for the booking. This website itself isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from a child browsing independently.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. We’d encourage you to check back occasionally if you’d like to stay current.
